YEAH!!!   I can finally see growth.  I've been working hard to get my 2-3 inches of hair back. Ive been doing styles that kept my hair super moisturized & put away.   Ponytail n tuck, half wigs & french rolls. Yes protective styles work. They say hard work pays off.  Now i can start wearing my signature style again   Twist out on stretched hair.

I finally made Flax seed Gel it was super easy to do and cost less than $1 for the seeds. I couldn't wait to use it so I co washed my hair and did twist on damp hair  using the gel. It took some getting used to the consistency. It feels like slimy snot lol. The next morning I took my hair down  & was pleasantly surprised.  My hair had lots of definition and was SOO  soft not like any other gel I've ever used. My hair shrinkage was definitely  in the building As i don't usually set my hair while its wet but I made it work. Next time I'll use it on stretched hair...  Overall I'm impressed, will be adding this to my weekly regime

My natural hair Oh how I love thee..., BUT lately it has been giving me the blues. My crown area looks as if someone has choped off 2 inches  EEK!! I dunno what happen. So ive been on a mission to get my 2 inches back. I started w protective styles of course. 1st Sew in I couldnt commit to a full head of weave. Hated that!! Couldnt get done to my scalp w ease. I felt trapped... LOL   2nd Partial crochet. I  thought  this would do it being that I only did the back & I could get to my scalp w ease for moisturizing. This Seemed to get tighter ever day. I was like What the what??    3 - 4 days  tops  that had to go. So finally I found a  protective  style  suited to me  and all my quirks.   U part wig Yasss Honey Whew!!!  I love this as a protective style I can take it off at night  and give my self treatments. I dont feel trapped under mountains of fake hair.  The best part is  that I  leave out  my entire perimeter along with  a big u section  on top hence the name  u part. It doesnt have that weave / wig  look or feel. As if it couldnt get any better I found a synthetic hair that matches mine cost only  $11.99 a pack and I only use 1/2 pack.  All the styles  looked great but for me there was a comfort level that i needed to reach.
